Traces of Love is KURXMA’s EP released independently on several distributions platform such as Spotify, and Apple Music. This project presents a balance of Hip-Hop, groovy Neo-Soul vibes, with a hint of Pop sounds which caters to dancehall-vibes. Traces of Love was partially recorded in Duncanville, Texas & MediaTech Institute - Dallas within a 4-month recording period from MARCH 2018 – AUGUST 2018.
All graphic designs, concept, and photo-shoot were shot, edited, and done by KURXMA. Upcoming recording engineer, LadiiTJ, helped record two of the EP's tracks which are 'Self-Inflicted' & 'Rewind', while the mixing was primarily done by KURXMA.
Why did you name this project Traces Of Love?
I felt the title fit perfectly with my life right now. This is me after what’s left from my last chapter. This project is something different from me. It’s honest. It’s on a different level of intimacy. It’s feels free. My energy, the vibes, and I love how my heart found its’ rhythm. Each song connects to a specific moment of my life. There were sudden changes which almost made me not want to complete this project altogether. Thankfully, I kept myself grounded and focused. There was one quote which really stood out to me the most: Life moves on. I found the beauty in when a chapter scrolls onto the next. I’m carrying a lot from my past, but I’m hopeful in my future.

FOREPLAY is KURXMA’s debut album released independently on several distributions platform such as Spotify, and Apple Music.
This album contains Contemporary Hip-hop/R&B sounds for the late-night vibes. With 1-AM bangers like ‘Already’ to Hard-hitting Trap balance like ‘Nobody Else’ or smooth instrumentations presented on ‘Is This For Me (Interlude)’ record. ‘Already’ has amassed several buzz from US regions from the East Regions, Boston or New York, to Central/West Regions such as Dallas, Texas.
FOREPLAY was recorded in Duncanville, Texas within a 4-month recording period from SEPT(2017) – JAN(2018).

"Why that [Album] title?"
"It's a lil long explanation but I feels a good one. Alright, here it is:
I figured the title fits perfectly within my life and the overall theme of the upcoming project. Mainly because: This is a new chapter of my life. In this chapter alone, I am covering my weaknesses I struggled to explore really; both romantically and through my songwriting abilities. I love R&B, but I can never really write out that 'heartfelt' or 'in the moment' type of songs I believe I can write. And I KNOW I can write one. lol What holds me back is my vocal abilities and my heart. I don't wear my heart on my sleeve, 24/7, but when I do it's there for a good reason. So, don't ever take me lightly when it's up there, cuz I'm in a really...REALLY vulnerable position. I'm a 'laugh-it-off' type of person. It just how I deal with situations. I could never transition that vulnerability towards my song-writing. Now Romantically-speaking, In the same sense (if it makes sense), I never really paid that much attention to foreplay in bed. I didn't think about it much like I do now and how important it is. On that note, I ain't the flirting type. I'm horrible at that. If there was a Flirting game and our human existence depended on me. We'll be dead AF. #Facts lol Finally, This project is there to build up my overall confidence. So that's why the EP is called Foreplay."
