Intro

Even if you manage to move out of your parent's house. You might be financially-floating, but there is still something missing in your life.

What if you went to college? What if you own your business? What are your goals? 21 questions of our lives. Take a deep breath. Everything is going to be fine. Your life is worth the wild ride.

Coming soon You can read about the other 10% here: 10 Things the 10% are doing for their dreams.

In the meantime,  here are 20 valuable lessons you should learn in your 20's.

20 greatest things my heart learned in my 20's

1) It doesn't have to make sense now, in time, it will.

Tips: Once you master the art of patience. You will have the world at your fingertips.

2) Always go with your gut.

You know this more than I can ever explain. ??

3) Think with your brain, feel with your heart. ??

You'll be surprise. This is a biggie!

What is going to be said next, may be a controversial statement: Some people find themselves in unnecessary situations, because they can't differentiate both the heart and mind. There are situations where YOU NEED TO THINK FIRST. You might get in trouble just finalizing your decisions off your emotions alone. The heart and mind are a deadly duo when you used correctly.

4) You will have to sacrifice to get results.

Tips: What if I told you, you will be better off without video games, eating out, and having no-social life for a year or two? Sounds like death. Sure, but it's okay! Everybody's situation is different, but you will have to sacrifice a liability to make that jump.

5) Don't expect anybody to support you or your dreams. Not even your parents.

6) Don't measure your success with your colleague's progress.

Block out all the noise.

Tips: Everyone is running the same race called Life. Your moment to shine will come. This is the test which proves your progression. Skill comes with practice. Results comes after the 10,000 hours mark or 10,000 experiments. (Simmons) Your moment to shine will come sooner or later. So, less social media and more practice. (lots of it!)

7) Now is the time to dive in!

Nobody cares about your failures? Failure is apart of self-development.
Don't let the fear of failure stop you from taking your first step.
Try, fail, repeat, until you succeed.

8) Every heartbeat matters. #hustle

Chase your goals like you're going to die tomorrow. That will put a boost in your steps.

9) "Pay Yourself First"

Wise words from Robert Kiyosaki.

10) We are never fully prepared, so JUST DO IT! ?

Tips:
"The perfect day to commit to your dream(s) will never come. There is no such thing as being fully prepared. There are things you can never learn or prepare for except by actually doing them." - Anonymous ??

11) Live below your means. ?

Example: Cut your food expenses by doing more grocery shopping and less takeouts.

Look at your bank statement and list all your takeout purchases. Add them all up. You will see your food expenses add up, real quick.

Save your money. You will be able to invest elsewhere.

12) Forgive your past, forgive yourself. ?

Tips: Don't dabble in the past. Evaluate your decisions. Appreciate the good times and the bad ones. Live on.

13) Enjoy the journey, not so much the destination.

"Life happens wherever you are, whether you make it or not."
-Uncle Iroh, Avatar: The Last Airbender ?

14) BUSINESS Relationships are more important than ever.

Having no social life has its downside. But having BUSINESS relationships is ALL TOO IMPORTANT. These types of relationships can put you on the map!

Your boss, Your co-workers, Your colleagues. Friends will come later.

15) Friends: Quality over Quantity

Find people who inspire you to do better. They don't have to study the same field as yours. Just someone with quality features to help make life a lil bit easier.

Bonus: If they have an unique skill.
BONUS-BONUS: If you like Justin Bieber and they like Justin Bieber, too! eeeeeee!!! lol

16) Being able to help someone is fulfilling

Volunteer work. Working on someone's project, or even writing a blog to help broaden a person's perspective. It goes a long way!

17) It's alright to drop out of college (the wrong one).

College is an investment! If your college does not fit within your goals. LEAVE.
Who cares what others will think?

Tips: Research different majors before switching. There are alternatives for the education you are seeking (trade school or apprenticeship).

Food for Thought: There's a difference between failures, quitting, and putting down something you don't need.

18) It's okay say "No"

In time, you will have people, left-to-right, asking you to contribute. It's okay to turn them down. It's better to say no than to deliver a half-ass quality.

19) It's okay to get rejected

20) Stop worrying so much.

There's hope down the road. That's the best part. So, don't give in.

Summary

There's a difference between quitting, failures, and putting down something you don't need. Go after your dreams. You may have to drop everything and hit the ground running. You will F^$K up along the way. It is all apart of learning. So, get to it! The time is now.
